Supporting bright students
Novo Nordisk is actively engaged in promoting life sciences. We regard it as our social responsibility and it benefits our business.
Our structured activities are organised in Novo Nordisk Training and Research Programme (TRAP).
Currently, we:
- finance Scandinavian Return Fellowships (PostDoc positions) at Novo Nordisk for up to two years for ex-pat scientists returning from overseas.
- co-finance around 70 PhD-students, more than 150 PhD students since 1998
- provide scholarships to more than 40 master students annually finalising their thesis at Danish universities and Lund university.
We support bright students and PhD schools within life sciences, focusing on biotechnology and pharmaceutical sciences, including:
- molecular biology
- microbiology
- pharmacy
- medico-techniques
- biomedical engineering.
You must be supported by a Novo Nordisk scientist to become enrolled in these activities.
